Spring 2026
Developments
We have had several good developments this spring starting with an increase in new students. We started the semester with seven added to our student count. In addition, some students who had not taken classes for a couple of years returned to the classroom. LRCC is a small college, and these additions are significant for us.
Our classroom building has 2 heating systems, one for the classrooms and a separate system for the break area and faculty offices. The system covering the break area had not worked for most of a year and there were no funds for repair. We simply left doors open and let the heat and cool from the working system circulate. A faculty member whose office was affected felt directed during prayer to go outside and lay her hands on the non-functioning HVAC unit. The unit then began to work and has continued to work. Praise God! He knows our needs.

In addition to classes at LRCC, John sometimes teaches in area churches. This helps recruit students to the college. One of the new students and two of the returning students this spring were likely influenced in this way.
We are very glad that Gay has been able to keep up her classes and administrative work even while continuing with the cancer treatments. The doctors believe the cancer is gone for now and we never want to have it return.
Praise Reports
Ϯ New student enrollment is up at LRCC for the spring semester
Ϯ Gay’s cancer appears to be gone
Ϯ The HVAC system on a building started working again after a professor felt directed to pray for it.
Prayer Needs
† That God will call more Native Americans into ministry
† That all who respond will be filled with the Spirit
† Our accreditation means that LRCC needs to have a financial cushion to show long term viability
† Several have become sick in unusual ways this spring. We need protection from the enemy’s attacks on us and LRCC
Want to do a Missions Trip?
If your church wants to do a short-term missions trip, we can put you to work. You can help us with maintenance, large or small projects, and yard work on the campus. There is much simple work in the library. We have both housing and a kitchen on campus to simplify things.
